GREEN TO GO

The use of reusable containers is encouraged through our Choose to Reuse program. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference. You can ask a cashier for more information on how to join the program.

REUSABLE CUP PROGRAM

Reduce waste and give back. Purchase a reusable cup for $1 refills, and 50% of the profits support the Prez Pantry.

REUSABLE TOTES

Our reusable totes offer a simple way to reduce single-use bag waste and support more sustainable habits on campus.

COMPOST & RECYCLE

Our culinary team composts pre-consumer waste, such as scraps and trimmings from fruits and vegetables during food preparation. We also recycle boxes and aluminum cans from deliveries. We also make it easy to sort waste properly with clearly marked compost and recycling stations. Together, we can divert waste from landfills and return nutrients to the earth.

REDUCE FOOD WASTE

In the kitchen, food is batch-cooked as needed to ensure freshness and manage waste levels. In the dining hall, individuals are encouraged to take portions they expect to eat, with the option to get more if needed.
